The Lookout Arts Quarry (LAQ) is our host site. It is the beautiful, rainbowy inverse of its dark soul, the Tripping Hazard. It's a lovely place to camp and hang out at. Learn all about it: https://lookoutarts.com/
People live here year-round so be respectful. Do not go exploring east of the Gate, that's residents only world. Swimming area is clothing optional.
An irretractable camping fee is built into all LOTH ticket prices. Since our shows can only happen during hours of complete darkness, attendees and performers should anticipate staying the night or make arrangements to safely relocate in the wee hours. Should you require camping gear, contact us.

How To LAQ
This is technically a sleeping option... but if it's not Sunday morning you haven't earned it.
Fun fact: You can stay up all night and then you don't have to worry about camping!
LOTH shows will always have an all-night crew tending a fire and blasting metal until sunrise. But if you must sleep, there are options.
Camp up the hill amongst the trees or on the Prairie. Vehicle campers can also park in the gravel lot downhill near the Pirate Ship. Off limits areas include anything east of the Main Gate, or west of the pipeline. Also permanent structures such as tiny houses, stages, and art installations.
Campers should bring:
Light (headlamp or flashlight w/batteries)
Shelter (tent, vehicle, bivvy)
Warmth (sleeping bag, blankies)
Comfort (sleeping pad, sheepskin)
Food (there is none on site, only seasonal berries and assorted rocks)
Water and/or container (there is potable water on site, but it tastes like well water)
Morning Reassurances (caffeine, bacon, aspirin)
Personal effects (you know what you need)
Abide by the one-way road signs.
Write your name and phone number on a scrap of something and put it in your windshield.
Park by your campsite, or in the Bad Neighbor Hood, which is the gravel lot near the Pirate ship.
For all LOTH events other than Sh'bang, parking is ample and you don't need to purchase a separate pass. Don't park like a dumbass. If you need to leave before light, park smart.
Shows start at full dark. That's typically between 9 and 10pm. "Doors" are at 8:30pm.
LOTH is a no fun zone, so NO MOSHING. If you mosh, you will be stopped. If you refuse you stop, you will be stopped.
Red light only.
If you get too turnt and start falling all over the art we reserve the right to turnt you into the art.
Don't go exploring beyond the obvious bounds of the space. There are no secret paths, that's just backstage and you shouldn't go back there because there are sharp things and special trash.
Additional facts and rules
No unsanctioned fires.
Pack out what you pack in. There are trash and recycling cans on site and big old dumpsters out by the road.
There are portapotties on site (and a forest toilet)
There is drinkable water on site.
There is a swimming hole on site (no lifeguard) and it's the best you'll ever experience.
There are exploratory trails on site, and across the highway there's Squires Lake Park.
There is an outdoor kitchen on site but it is reserved for residents / event staff only so keep out.
Everything is outside so smoking areas are everywhere - and so are trash cans so don't leave your butts on the ground and don't smoke around kids unless you brought them there and they seem really cool.
Until we get our shit together enough to hire someone, assume there are NO EMTs and NO LIFEGUARDS on site.
Please don't make that a problem. Take care of yourself, and look out for each other. Abide by the guiding maxim of every successful adult and Party Responsibly.
(If you are or know a medic or lifeguard and would like to offer your skills for hire or trade, please contact us)
